History's Harvest Video

Watch the video that shows how food has been made for thousands of years. Agricultural practices have changed due to the "green revolution" and have made it easier and cheaper to grow food. Countries that are using the new techniques are now being able to feed themselves and move away from subsitstance farming. The video also addresses the future of genetic engineering of crops to make them resistant to pests and disease. This will reduce the amount of pesticides, herbicides and fertilizers needed in the future!
We watched this video in class on THURSDAY May 29. If you were absent, you need to watch it!
